Gameloft and HarperCollins Productions have announced Carmen Sandiego, a new single-player puzzle-adventure game relaunch of the popular edutainment hit from the 1980’s and 1990’s.

Since 1985, Carmen Sandiego has eluded players around the world. Now, the iconic super thief is back, and for the first time ever, players will get to become Carmen Sandiego! Based on the original IP, the visual style will resemble the Emmy Nominated Netflix animated series that ran from 2019-2021. The game will launch first on Netflix in Q1 of 2025, and will follow later in the same quarter for PC (via Steam), PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. There will be a story-driven campaign and “classic modes.”
